[Q] Problems with C2.....

Hi. I went into my Alpha and did the setseclevel to turn it up to C2
security, and now I'm getting all sorts of strangeness happening:

1) I can't change the password for root with passwd - no matter what I
give it, it never updates....
2) although xisso can find user news, su cannot.......

any ideas would be appreciated.
