Performance Advisor 3.0 & DU 3.2C

hi, gurus:
I've installed Polycenter Performance Advisor Data Collector v3.0 (October 1995 media) over DU3.2C.
In /usr/opt/PSDC/dc/db, there is a log named psdc_NODENAME_error.log with the following entries:

        PSDC-E-DC_ERROR_INVALID_INIT_DATA gmdux1 Wed Feb 28 09:48:38 1996
         Unable to get all kernel data during initialization.
        PSDC-E-DCCollInit gmdux1 Wed Feb 28 09:48:38 1996
        Failed to initialize access to /dev/kmem.

Any ideas about it? kernel is compiled with all options. The behavior is that we can start dxadvise, but can't collect any data.
