We are installing Open3D software on an Alphastation 200/4-100
running OSFV3.2C. The scripts for installation executed correctly but
when we try to run any of the demos we obtained errors such as this:

charm.frank:/usr/lib/pex/examples> echo $DISPLAY
charm.phy.albany.edu:0.0
charm.frank:/usr/lib/pex/examples> pst_cube
Could not get pex on display PEXDefaultEntry

and

Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display "charm.phy.albany.edu:0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display "charm.phy.albany.edu:0.0".
Oops! Cannot find proper X-visual for Display charm.phy.albany.edu:0.0.

Are we just missing something in the environment variable syntax,
or is there something more basic wrong? Our display driver is an SVGA
card 1024*768 resolution.
