Hi Managers,
I looked for a very good shareware/freeware Image processor.
I've got following answers:
1.
From: Herve DEMARTHE <demarthe_at_alpha.cad.cea.fr>
have a look at MPEG-ENCODE (archie fill find the nearest site for you),
2.
From: Khalid Paden <khalid_at_fnal.gov>
Try ImageMagick
3.
From: Lukas Rosenthaler <rosenth_at_foto.chemie.unibas.ch>
You can ftp XLIPS from "foto.chemie.unibas.ch"... It's an image
processing system with quite a lot of features (and some bugs ;-)...
4.
From: Larry Griffith <larry_at_garfield.wsc.mass.edu>
Try xv 3.10a. It handle TIFF, JPEG, and many other formats.
5.
From: Winfried Huber <win_at_tukan.ffb.eunet.de>
get ImageMagick 3.6 at
http://fonsg3.let.uva.nl:8001/HLselect/Tools_archives/ImageMagick
If you get a later version of ImageMagick you will get much bigger
.gif-files because 3.6 is the latest version supporting gif-file
compression. It has been removed because of the trouble with the
Unisys patent.

Thanks for everybody who answered!
Best Regards,
Gyula Szemenyei
