Many thanks for all of the replies.
I will summarize more completely later, but a quick listing

The 'ps' command has arguments to pin a process to a processor
(RTFMP) Read The Fine Man Pages.
the 'monitor' tool has been downloaded but I am still reading the
configuration to make the tool.
The 'cpuinfo' in /usr/examples/motif/cpuinfo is interesting. It is
similar to the 'vmubc' display of information but limited to only cpu
info. It doesn't tell you what process is on what processor however.
DEC finally called and suggested setting setting UBC_MAX_PCT down
to 50% vs the default 100% as a performance enhancement after adding
large quantities of memory.

A more detailed summary will follow in a few days, but I have to go setup a
new Alpha 600 with dUnix and Oracle to be "fully functional" by Monday.

Have a good weekend,
