/ mounted rw in single user

Hi Gurus,

this time I have a very simple question - either I'm stupid or I don't
know something.

When I want to boot my DEC 3400 (DU 3.2) in single user from the
console mode, I enter:

>>> bo -fl s

The only problem is, that after boot, I have / filesystem mounted
read-only, what of course is not what I want.

How to have / filesystem mounted rw (except booting in multi user,
and shutdowning then to single user)?
