A tcp parameter

Hi there,

Our communication guys just discovered the parameter tcp_naglim_def
on our Suns using Solaris 2.3. You see this parameter when you type
ndd /dev/tcp \? on Solaris. They changed it to 1 and said that the
communication between Sybase and our server application goes much
faster. I am wondering if there is a similar parameter also on the
Alpha with DU3.2C ? I am using netconfig (the pd network kernel
options config utility) but I can't figure out which parameter on
the alpha is equivalent to this tcp_naglim_def parameter.

Who knows what this parameter does and what it's equivalent
on the alpha ( and how does one change it ) ?

Thanks for any help in advance

Juerg
