Hello all:
Still working at this friggin' news server. The KZPSA in the Alpha 600
has the wrong firmware rev. I've placed a hardware support call, but no
real help there, and I'm dead in the water until I get this done.
I can, and have done an, update on CONSOLE FIRMWARE. That's the easy
part.
The hard part is getting the DEVICE FIRMWARE to work. I've created a
FAT floppy, and have copied FWUPDATE.EXE to it as well as the KZPSA
firmware image and sys files. There are some *extremely* sketchy
instructions on the firmware update CD, but that definitely hasn't
gotten me anywhere....
Any body ever done this before? Any clues?
