Hi
Has anyone experienced a data transfer via cpio from an AT&T 3431 to the DU v3.2C ?
The tape we use at AT&T is an 525 MB QIC unit, at DU side we use a TZK11 QIC unit, the data is backep up with the following command: # find /blablabla -depth -print | cpio -ocvd -O /dev/rmt/c0t3d0s0.
Blocking factor at AT&T is 512 bytes, we've tried to use rmt0l, rmt0a, rmt0m and rmt0h at the DU, with the same error message, we've checked the tape's header and is OK (i mean, it corresponds to the cpio header)
We have some notices regarding the same problem while migrating data from AT&T to Sun/OS. Any hints?
TIA
