Hi,

I am trying to compile getstats, the www server log analyzer, on a alpha
3000 - 600 running Dec Unix 3.2. I have also tried it under Dec Unix 3.0b.

I loaded gcc (binary ver 2.3.3) off of the freeware CD and am following the
instructions provided with getstats to compile but I receive the following
errors:

local/bin/gcc getstats.c -o getstats
In file included from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/alpha-dec-osf1/2.3.3/include/
 time.h:183, from getstats.c:518:

getstats.c:2660: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
getstats.c:2661: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size....

and about 20 more of the same "integer of different size" errors.

A search of the archive didn't turn up anything with 'getstat' in the
subject. Has anyone compiled and run this successfully under Dec Unix
3.0 - 3.2?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, I will summarize to the list.

Thanks in Advance,

Fred Lance
