Hi,

I want to thank everyone that responded to my request for information. I
received many answers all of
them good and all of them useful in one way or another.

Below is my oringal post:

Some of the responses I received covered using the man command to request
information on a topic.
(This was good because the individual also gave me the names of some
X-Windows applications that reside on the
server)

Another response gave me some of the commands for other flavors of UNIX.
One response even suggested I get a life and go to school to learn C and to
keep the questions Alpha manager related.
(well lets say it was appreciated, but)

The rest of the answers all told me how to compile the proggrams and the
extensions given the compiled programs and how
to run them.

The best answer was the one below:

******look in /usr/bin/X11 for the compiled and linked X tools.*******

I looked in this directory and found many programs that were already
compiled and ready to run.
They work great!

Once more thank alot folks,
