I'm having a strange problem I'm hoping someone has solved. I'm trying to get
the above configuration working using OSF/1 3.2b and Open3D V3.00 on an
Alphastation 600 5/266. I have the exact same configuration working on an
Alphastation 250 4/266.
When I install Open3D (base,common and ZLXp-L subsets) the installation routine
does a kernel gen to activate the changes made. This regen runs fine on the 250
but crashes on the 600. The messages seem to indicate it cannot recognize the
mouse, the keyboard or the display. (I can supply the exact error log if
required).
I've checked with Digital and the versions of the OS and Open3D are supported.
I even had them replace the motherboard in case it was the mouse and/or
keyboard ports.
I'm at a lost as to what to try next.
