Hi,
we have here a DEC AXPvme 230 VME board running under DU (OSF/1) 3.2.
Maybe somebody else out there is using the same system and could give
me some useful information or hint.
My problem is the VME access because there is nothing really useful
from DEC coming with that board in terms of VME driver, examples or
documentation. From some special DEC relations I got something called
xxx which is not very statisfactory.
So I just dump out my questions:
1. Does anybody have a reasonable driver to make VME access including
access via pointer and DMA block transfer.
2. How can I avoid that the system crashes after each VME bus error
which is really annoying.
3. Has anybody got a better documentation than the OSF/1 'Writing
VME Device Drivers' manual.
Any help is welcome.
Thanx in advance,
Ciao Wolfgang.
