This might be better aimed toward a sendmail group, but I'll
try here first.
My current setup(DU 3.2, Sendmail(IDA) 5.65, MH POP) is designed
so that any mail send to user_at_redrose.net, is aliased to
user_at_pop, and gets dropped into /var/spool/pop/user.
This keeps from having to add each user to the /etc/passwd file
and works quite well. However, I want to upgrade to 8.7.5 and
have been unable to get the above working. There are 2 places
in the current sendmail.cf file which reference "POP" but I get
errors when I attempt to paste them into the new 8.7.5 .cf file.
I have O'Reilly's book and have been attempting to understand
what these lines and how to translate them into a format
8.7.5 will understand, but as most of you know, sendmail is a
pain is the *ss.
Anyway, if anyone has any pointers or suggestions, they would be
most welcome.
