    Hi folks,

I hope you can help me with this one! I have an opportunity to pick a
    DEC2100 4/275 w/128 MB memory or a DEC2100 4/200 w/128 MB AND an additional
CPU. The difference in cost is five hundred dollars.

Which system is the better unit to purchase in a DU 3.2 environment serving
as print and file server for

60 networked PCs (currently PATHWORKS 4.1)
Pathworks (each PC averages 8 to 10 connections to server)
FOXPRO all databases resides on server
                    Printers queues resides on server
Majority of software applications reside on server

             6 DEC 3000/600
Yellow Pages Services (password, hosts, services)
                    NFS mounted disks
                    Printing and plotting services
Disk space for several large application packages

            Server
Several MAJOR FOXPRO databases (all PCs and DEC
                    workstations hit)
Backup of ALL PCs and DEC workstations
PC Software packages (MS Office WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint,
ABC Flowcharter, etc) reside on server
                    RAID System
                    10 GB data served

My biggest problem today is disk I/O because of the databases. Late '96
PCs will be running NT or Workgroup for Windows and TCP/IP.

Thanks for any insight you can share. I will summarize!!!
