adding hard drives

Someone tell me I'm dreaming... it's not really this hard to add two hard
drives to our alpha 5/266 is it? I'm having a whale of a time figuring
out the correct values for /etc/disktab for a quantum atlas (QM34300AL).
I would like to strip these bad boys using UFS/LSM. Any help would be
appreciated!
