console hangs when select icn

Hiya's,

We are running CDE on a little alpha station with 64 MB RAM and plenty
of disk space.

An annoying/unexplicable event happens when I click on icons on the
desktop panel. Sometime's it works, sometimes it hangs the system
completely. ie, in particuliar when I click on a new dtterm sometimes it
happens or the system hangs.

Anyone experienced similiar problems ?
