Dear Managers,
I'm presently running DU V3.2C on Alpha Server 1000 4/233RM systems. I am
presently trying to setup one of the systems to be the primary DNS server
,mailhub and POP server for multiple domains. The DNS side of it works well,
but I am having problems configuring sendmail to recognize that it is
supposed to be responsible for handling mail for the domains in question.
Instead of sendmail recognizing the domain as its own, it goes back to DNS,
gets it own IP, tries to talk to itself and fails. I've used the Cw and Cd
macros in the sendmail.cf file placing the respective domain names on the
lines, and restarted the sendmail daemon, but with no luck. It does work
with its originally configured domain. Any assistance on this would be
highly appreciated. The following is a transcript of the error message I
receive. soca.trinidad.net and popmail.peakeind.com have the same IP
address, they are serviced under different DNS records.
