Has anyone installed this patch?
The instructions read:
3. Set the following variable in /etc/sysconfigtab
vm:
ubc_nfsloopback=1
Because I have /tmp linked to /var/tmp I cannot use sysconfigdb to add a
stanza file containing this information as per the man, so I edited the
/etc/sysconfigtab
file to contain this information.
At reboot the message:
sysconfigtab: attribute ubc_nfsloopback not in subsystem vm
is displayed.
Following reboot I issued the command
sysconfigdb -s
to synchronize the /etc/sysconfigtab file and the in-memory
configuration database by updating the in-memory database so that it
matches the /etc/sysconfigtab file as per the man.
Issuing this command indicates it has been successful
#sysconfigdb -l vm
vm:
ubc_nfsloopback = 1
Do I have to add "sysconfigdb -s" as part of the startup scripts?
