Pop mail question

Hey Fellow DUers,

I've not been able to uncover any info on this one and hope
someone out there might have run into it as well. I am running
a pop daemon (QUALCOMM version 2.1.4-R3) on my Alpha
3000/300 running DU version 3.2a. It works fine. What I'm
wondering about is whether there's any way to disallow the
"Leave mail on server" setting that the eudora mail clients
have. It doesn't seem to matter how many times you try to
tell users not to turn that option on, they still do and the mail
just keeps piling up on the server. They, in the meantime, are
totally unaware that they're chewing up massive amounts of disk
and driving the system manager into an attack of the screaming
meemies! I don't mind if they leave it on the server for a few days
or a week - that would be useful if they were away from the office
and wished to download their messages to their own machine when
they returned.

Is there some variable in the pop source code that I might be able
to tweek? Any other ideas?

Many thanks
Lyn
