We have a 6 port HSZ40 controller connected to a DEC Alpha 2100 via a
KZPSA running DEC OSF/1 ver 3.2 rev 214. We are able to configure thre
drives at the HSZ40 level but we are unable to see or use the drive on
the DEC box. According to the manual on the HSZ40 we should use the
following naming conventions for the devices:
Unit Major Minor Device
D000 8 16386 rza8c
D001 8 16450 rzb8c
D002 8 16514 rzc8c
D003 8 16578 rzd8c
D004 8 16642 rze8c
D005 8 16706 rzf8c
D006 8 16770 rzg8c
D007 8 16834 rzh8c
D100 8 17410 rza9c
D101 8 17474 rzb9c
The problem is when we use to the disklabel command we get the following
error:
disklabel -rw /dev/rrza8c hsz40
disklabel: /mdec/rzaboot: no such file or directory
Any help would be greatlty appreciated.
