On an Alpha 3000-300 running DEC OSF/1 V3.2A (Rev. 17). After
a disk failure the users domain can not be mounted.
The mounting fails with
ADVFS : Domain users not activated - inconsistency detected
users#u1 on /users: Device does not contain a valid ADVFS file system.
Without the mounting none of the check programs (msfsck ..) can be
started.
Is there a easy way out ?
What steps have to be taken to recover from such an incident.
All suggestions are very welcome.
