DECnet/OSI question

Hi,

We have an AlphaServer 1000 running DU 3.2D. The network here
(the DECnet part) is entirely Phase IV. We never had to worry about using
DECnet, as IP was all we needed. Unfortunately, we need to connect to an
SNA gateway, which runs on Phase IV DECnet. Anyway, it seems that DECnet
on DU will not run in Phase IV only mode, as it will under VMS and Ultrix.
After hours of pain, we were able to make connections to other Phase IV
nodes, including the gateway. However, if we try to connect from another
machine back to your machine (by name or address), it says:

dlogin: Connect failed, No response from object

Connecting from our machine to the other still works fine--so for
some reason this is only one way. As far as I can tell, everything is
setup properly. The remote machines all can communciate with each other,
so they are not the problem. Any ideas? Anything will help, I will admit
I know absolutely nothing about DECnet/OSI. Thanks.
