I've been trying to set up the ability for pop-mail users to change their passwords through the Eudora password changer. I have downloaded "poppassd" from Qualcomm and configured everything as per their documentation. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Does anyone have experience with this program?
On Eudora, it goes through its routine and then simply gives a message "unable to change password"
Running the program interactively from a terminal the program bombs out with a message "500 username required" (Even though that had been given)
The error log gives a message "read error from child: i/o error"
It appears, therefore, that the child program is not reading the user name.
Thanks in advance
