Friday Morning and one of my workmates just deleted most of our Digital
Alphas top-down directories.
It got as far as the rm command as after that it did not know what to do
anymore.
I am going to try and boot of cdrom with osf cd and mount the root filesystem
read/write and do a full restore from a level 0. However the tape drive
is on a different machine...
I'll do a reinstall of the operating system (BASIC) and then try to do a
restore.
If anyone can send me some commands to mount read/write root filesystem
and such things I'll need to know, that would be great!
