We need some information to solve a problem about NFS communication :
-The environment is OSF Digital Unix 3.2d and Intergraph Unix
-DU machine (Alpha server) gives the possibility to clients
to mount an NFS volume
-Clients , Intergraph Clixs , mount NFS service
-The save command from Clixs in NFS volume causes multiple
actions :
sometimes the file is saved
sometimes the file can not be saved
sometimes the file is saved but we can not reopen it
(these two last cases cause the creation of a shorter file
than before)
We think it could be a problem of NFS settings in Alpha server but we DON'T
know the way for solving this strange happening .
We thank in advance the persons who can give us some useful ideas .
