Regards, managers !
Here's a short recap of the answers I received regarding upgrading DECnsr
and the patch OSF350-146.
1. Upgrading DECnsr:
Straightforward (i.e I'm partially blind, or was at the time of reading the
Installation notes). Just remember to answer correctly the questions asked
when deleting the old DECnsr subsets (that is, say 'yes' when asked about
keeping /nsr stuff).
An additional comment (from Jeff Stelzner <jeffs_at_esca.com>, thanks Jeff !):
One thing with 3.2 is that it adds several fields to each client setup
screen [need to View:Details], and the backups won't work with 3.2 clients
unless these are set correctly. For me the key ones were Architecture:
decaxp for DU clients instead of default value of 'unknown', and License
Units: 1050 [or whatever] instead of default value of '1'.
2. patch OSF350-146
No answers received. DEC people, any comments ???
