I installed DU 4.0 on my Dec 3000/300x a few weeks ago. I'm
using CDE, trying to find all the gotchas before I let my
users loose on it.
One gotcha I haven't yet found a way around is that the F1 and
Do keys aren't working anymore. So no pausing screens using
F1, and my editor (nu/tpu) isn't very happy either.
Also, I have yet to figure out how to change the default size
of dtterm. I'd like to have it come up 80 wide by 40 long,
and it only wants to come up as 24 long.
Another thing which seems odd to me is that the mouse keys
don't always behave the same way. In the mailer, sometimes
using the mouse key will select an item (or group of items)
so I can move them (for instance). Other times the arrow
turns into a little envelope which doesn't seem to have a
purpose.
Has anyone else dealt with this yet? Or have suggestions?
