The answer is:-
You probably will need to install Open3D and load the drivers for
your graphics board.
All now running
Many thanks - this list is great.

A few minutes ago I asked:-
I have just taken delivery of a 500/333 and I am trying to get it up
and running.
I first ran up the Factory installed software (V3.2D-1) and all went
well - but wanted to change partitions sizes so decided to do a fresh
install from CD.
Installed 3.2C then 3.2D-1 update but now I cannot get it to see the
graphics card.
During the boot I get the message
module 1011:d not in pci_options table unable to configure
I assume that this is referring to the PBXGB-AA graphics card.

I have tried booting on genvmunix and running doconfig to build a new kernel.
I am awaiting a call back from DEC.
In the mean time any suggestions?
(We have just received 4.0 but wish to keep all our Alphas in line so
do not want to install that.)
Tim.
