Hi all,
we have an alpha-server 2000/300 running DU 3.0 with the following SCSI
devices on #0 controller:
SCSI-ID DEVICE
0 2.1 Gb Disk
2 External Tape
4 CDROM
6 2.1 Gb Disk
and we want to connect another disk (Quantum XP34300, 4Gb) to the same
scsi bus with scsi-id 3.
Configuration works fine (disklabel & newfs & mount), but when we work
on it for a while it hungs the whole scsi bus, getting a lot of error &
timeout messages from the bus ending in 'resetting SCSI at request'
message and the system totally hungs.
Intalling the same disk on AlphaStation 500/266 running DU 3.2d with
the same configuration all is ok (so far ...)
Output from 'uerf' (sorry for the long output :():
[Realize that it don't complain about the new scsi-id #3]
