  Here is a brief summary of the problem:
1) It is a known problem with DU 4.0. I contacted DEC OS support, and the 
problem is forwarded to the software engineers.
2) The temp. solutions I found is to use dump from DU 3.2c. It seems to 
work ok under DU 4.0. You might want to copy dump/restore together.
