AlphaServer 2100A and modem configuration

Greetings All,

        I have an AlphaServer 2100A which I want to attach a modem
to and then run a getty on the modem port to allow for user to dial-in.

        Any thoughts? Also, what if I needed to send an init string to
the modem?
