Root Password

Hi everybody,

I changed the root password on one of the Alpha's running OSF/1 V 3.0 .
I forgot the passwd now , so is there any way to resolve this problem
without re-installing ?

I am a member of the following groups
system,daemon,uucp,mem,bin,sec,mail,terminal,news,opr,auth,lp,backup,cron,users,
sysadmin,tape,tcb,adm,operator,ris,root,guests .
