ANSWERS :
1) chfsets uses 1K blocks. This is mentioned in the man pages.
2) The default grace period is 7 days - don't know where or if that
is documented.
3) mtools, a collection of tools for manipulating MSDOS files, can be
found at:
dec.gatekeeper.com:/pub/GNU
sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk/gnu/mtools-2.0.7.tar.gz
freeware cd.

ORIGINAL POSTING :
First problem : I have an advfs named usr_domain with three
filesets in it. I wanted to set each fileset soft block quota
to 250 MB and the hard block quota to 500 MB. A block is 512 bytes,
right ? So...
chfsets -B 512000 -b 1024000 usr_domain
showfsets usr_domain
The second command shows the quotas at TWICE the size intended !
Can anyone confirm that chfsets uses a block size of 1K ? If so, WHY ? Any why doesn't the man page say what size block it is talki
ng about ? Or is showfsets the problem ?

Second problem : The docs mention that there is a default grace
period (set grace period to 0 to get default), but I can't find anywhere in the docs where it says what the default grace period is. W
hat is the default grace period, and where is this
mentioned in the docs ?

Third problem : I saw mention in this newsgroup of mcopy but can't
find any reference in the docs to this either. Can
someone point me in the right direction ?
