I have an Alpha 3000/300 and would like to know (1) whether there
is any support for sound on this machine. There is an RJ11 socket
in the back which has the symbol of a phone handset beside it.
 What significance is this?
 (2) If the RJ11 is for sound, what line voltages are there. What
can I really plug into it? The line from a pre/amp? a phone handset?
a regular phone line? (3) Can someone point me to documentation
which describes this (and any sound features supplied on the 3000/300)?
How they work, etc., how to program them?
 (4) Does anyone know of software, libraries etc., to drive it?
 (5) Does anyone know of an implementation of 'real audio; which runs
on an sunch an Alpha and (6) Is there a tool available for playing
sound files which can be downloaded via Netscape?

 Thanks in Advance,

 Dave Millsom
