PolyCenter Manager on Netview auto topology problem

Hello,

We have a class C subnet that consists (simplyfied) of a multiport
bridge with 6 thin ethernet segments.

The brigde has a snmp agent. (Well it's a Retex RX7000 router that is
running in transparent bridging mode.) The dot1dBridge mib subtree
returns correct values as far as I see.

The IP topology daemon draws the subnet map as one ethernet bus line
with all nodes connected to this line.

I do not (want to) beleave that this is all I can get. I hope that
it is possible that our subnet can automatically(!) draws as something
like a star topology with our multiport bridge in the center and
6 bridged ethernet segments coming out of it. The important point
is of course that each IP host is connected to the right ethernet
segment on the host.

Any change to achieve this? How?

If the auto topology daemon is too studied to handle this: Knows
someone how I can define a Collection that uses MIB values in it's
rules? This would allow to read out the bridge MIB values and dynamicly
collect each hosts into the correct bridged ethernet segment.

Digital 3.2c, PolyCenter Manager on Netview 4.1,

I will summarize,
Achim
