Our new Alphaserver 400 is delivered with netcard DE433AA.
This should be "an easy automatic configurationable ethernet interface",
with no jumper according to DEC by phone now.
(no information about this came with the machine..)

The machine is set up to use interface "tu0" but only the bnc-interface
works. I want to use the twp (rj) interface.

How do I accomplish this - by kerneloptions or console/bootprom commands?
(If the latter - which command?)

This is output from netconfig:
Device Name: Ethernet Interface - tu0
--------------------------
  state = up
  arp = yes
  allmulti = no
  metric =
  mtu = 1500
  host = harald.uio.no
  configured = yes
  debug = no
  dhcp = no
  device = tu0
  running = yes
  netmask = 255.255.254.0
  promisc = no
  address = 129.240.20.58

I will summarize to the list.
