I have an AlphaServer 1000 4/200. It has four banks of SIMM slots
for memory SIMMS. The first two banks are occupied by 64 Mb SIMM kits,
giving a total memory of 128 Mb. Can I add a 128 Mb SIMM kit to the
third bank? Or do all banks have to have the same density of SIMMs?
Or do the higher density SIMMs have to be in the lower numbered banks?
Thanks for any information. I've already checked the DEC Systems and
Options Catalog on their web site. It says that I can use 128 Mb
SIMM kits, but it doesn't say if or how I can mix them with 64 Mb
SIMM kits.
