SUMMARY: Mixing SIMMs of different densities on AlphaServer 1000

My original question was whether I could mix SIMM memory kits of
different densities (e.g., 64 Mb kit and 128 Mb kit) on an AlphaServer
1000 system. Several people wrote me to say that they in fact were
doing this successfully. Some suggested that the higher density SIMMS
should go in the first memory bank position.

Thank you to all respondents.
