compiling slirp under DU 3.2d

Hi,
    I tried to get the PPP emulator slirp running on an Alpha and ran
into 64-bit pointer problems. Basically the compile (under gcc 2.7.2)
produced lots of warnings about casts, etc. The executable ran, but
doesn't appear to work correctly.

Has anyone modified slirp for DU? Or used it successfully on an
Alpha?
