Earlier this week I had asked:

> I just got an AlphaServer1000a 4/266 in and was about to repartition the
>disks and reinstall the operating system. When I realized it came with Dec
>Unix 3.2f installed. I've only got the disks for 3.2d-[12] available to
>me at the current time.
>...
>Is there anything specific for the hardware listed above included in 3.2f
>or will 3.2d-2 suffice? I've got 6 AlphaStations running 3.2d-1 elsewhere
>on campus and I'd like to keep everything running more or less the same OS.

The response I got was:
>Date: Tue, 23 Jul 96 09:15:49 -0400
>From: szczypek_at_demnos.zk3.dec.com
>
>I don't see anything unusual about his configuration. He can go ahead
>and installed V3.2D-2. D-2, by the way, is the first release to
>support the AS1000A 4/xxx (not the 4/xxx part, the 5/xxx isn't supported
>until V3.2F).

I went ahead and installed 3.2d-2 on the A1000A 4/266 and it seems to be
quite happy. :)
