Internet Virus Hoax

I have two things to say about the recently reposted "Good Times"
virus message:

1) This is a hoax. There is no "Good Times" virus carried by
e-mail. Check http://www.altavista.digital.com for more
information. One good source is the FAQ, available from
http://straylight.cso.niu.edu/nats/goodtime.htm.

2) Although the person who posted the message here probably had good
intentions, such warnings are NOT APPROPRIATE for this mailing
list. Even if "Good Times" wasn't a hoax, this would not be the right
place to post warnings about it since it has nothing to do with
Alpha's running Digital UNIX.
