THIRD CPU!!

     Hello!
     
     We have a DEC Alpha 2100 4/275. We are running Informix on it.
     Currently we have two CPUs on the machine.
     
     We took a CPU from one of our other servers and inserted it as a third
     CPU. I saw there were 4 slots for CPUs. They were CPU0, CPU1, CPU2(ext
     i/o), and MEM0(CPU3). I inserted the third CPU into the slot CPU2.
     
     When we booted the system, it crashed. When we took out the third CPU
     we installed, the system came backup fine.
     
     I was wondering if we have to do some settings prior to inserting the
     third CPU on the system.
