ADVfs: System says disk full, but it isn't *sigh*

Hi!

I have a very weird problem. For those of you out there who remembered, I
had several problems with my Conner 4207S drive. It made the system
reboot. After A LOT of tweeking, I managed to get it to work. I used that
drive as a newsspool, and after about 3days, INN complained, and said
that the news spool is full. I check with df, and it says there is 2Gb
free space. Hmm... weird, but it's probably just INN who is behaving
strange, I thought, so I tried to copy a file to this disk, but even the
system said it's full. Now I realized I had a problem. My first thought
was of course that maybe I have run out of inodes (although I wasn't sure
there were any inodes on advfs). I did df -i $NEWSSPOOL and it gave me the
answer that I had 1.5Million inodes free (approx.). Hmm.. that wasn't the
answer either. Okey, it has to be this Conner drive I realized.

I installed 2 RZ28 drives from Digital to act as newsspool, but the exact
problem appears on them too! Is there a know bug in advfs that makes the
system believe that it is full? This problem has only appeared on my
newsspool, so apparently it's connected to the fact that the drives are
HEAVILY used (We receive approx. 150 000 articles/day).

This never happened when we had the newsspool on UFS, so maybe we have to
go back to using that for the newsspool.

So, my questions are as follows:

1.) Is this a know bug?
2.) Is there a known solution/patch for it?

Thanks in advance
