My original question was:

I have an Alpha 2100 machine which has two CPUs. Is there any utility that
will let me monitor the performance and the work load on each one of these two
CPUs?

Thanks for the many responses that I got.

Here is what I got.

1) Use the Monitor utility. This works great. You can get it from the
    gatekeeper.dec.com:/pub/DEC/monitor.alpha.tar.Z.

2) Use the utility vmubc. You can get it from DEC's freeware distribution CD.
If you have multiple CPUs, vmubc will show them separately.

3) You can simply compile the /usr/example/motif/cpuinfo. This works well too.

4) Use kdbx -k /vmunix, when you are in kdbx, the command cpustat will also
let you see the performance on the multiple CPUs.

That is all.

Again, many thanks to the quick responses.
