Query:

Is there a good way to determine the rev number of an RZ28B hard disk?

Answers:

My favorite answer: scu -f /dev/rrz10a sho dev

Another good one: uerf -R -r 300 | more
and look for: rz0 at scsi0 bus 0 target 0 lun 0 (DEC
                                        _ RZ28D (C) DEC 0008)
                                                               ^^^^
                                                               Rev no

The paper label on the disk case may also indicate the rev level.
