The questions I posted were:

Briefly the answers are:
1. Yes
2. No (or you need to ask Fore, what i did long time ago and still got no reply)
3. Upgrade is not necessary, 3.2C upgrades straight to 4.0 with no intermediate
stages.
4. Upgrade is not necessary, but it is better to have the latest (which is V3.6)
