4.0 install on AStation 500 problem

Hi
Trying to install from scratch DU v4.0, i get the following message:

panic (cpu0): vfs_mountroot: cannot mount root
syncing disks... done

DUMP: No primary swap, no explicit dumpdev.
                Nowhere to put header, giving up.

This is a brand new CPU. Is this a well-known problem ? I've installed
the latest firmware version (CD Version 3.6)
