Remote vdump (rvdump?)

I can't seem to make vdump work on a remote system (ala rdump). The
command I use is:

# /sbin/vdump -0 -C -v -u -f waldo:/dev/nrmt0h /
vdump: can't open dev <waldo:/dev/nrmt0h>; [2] No such file or directory

When I try a regular rsh command to the node waldo I get:
# rsh waldo mt rewind
#

So it doesn't look like a .rhost problem or anything like that. Waldo is
running OSF/1 3.0 and the node I am trying to back up is running 3.2D-1.

Thanks for any hints.

Mike
