APC SmartUPS with Powerchute 4.2.2 on DU 4.0

We are trying to install APC Powerchute 4.2.2 on a DU 4.0
server. We can't mount the CD. We get the error:

"No valid filesystem exists on this partition."

Other CDs we have from DEC mount just fine.

Anyone know what may be going wrong here? We tried
a second copy of the install CD and that didn't work
either.
